The LBD…

Not only we owe Coco Chanel for the spectacular fragrances, but for the glory of the Little Black Dress…

Since the 1920’s, when Chanel so wisely glorified the little black dress as the most versatile and long lasting piece of fashion ever created, it was no longer a piece reserved for periods of mourning.

It is absolutely indispensable in any woman’s wardrobe, and can be used in mostly all occasions: wear it with some beautiful pumps and a nice jacket, and make you LBD your most perfect work outfit. Wear with some classic sling backs and a finer piece of jewelry and it will be your evening’s best friend.

When Audrey Hepburn appeared wearing a Givenchy creation in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”paired with some fabulous white pearls, the world bowed at her.

Quoting Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor: “When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place…. she was absolutely right!

The LBD is empowering for some, slimming for others, synonym of classy for many and unanimously essential for all.

Trends change every year, body types change, life style change but the Little Black Dress stays, and remain supremely chic!

The LBD can come in different styles, different fabrics, lengths, details, and there is a black dress for each one of us.

Coco Chanel: eternal LDB with her symbol- the white pearls.
Angelina Jolie wearing a simple and very sexy version of the LBD.
Vitoria Beckham: casual yet sophisticated on a shorter version of the LBD.
